(*1933 in Stockholm) lives and works in Stockholm and Jonstorp. He is one of the best known contemporary Swedish artists and was honoured with a comprehensive retrospective at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm in 2005. Since 1953 he has been represented in any number of solo and group exhibitions at galleries and cultural institutions. Venues for solo exhibitions included among others the Dunkers Kulturhus Helsingborg (2003), the Lunds Konsthall (2002), the Thielska Galleriet in Stockholm (1999), the Centre Culturel Suédois, Paris (1997) and the American-Scandinavian Foundation, New York (1984). He took part in the 1999 exhibition of the Stiftung Bauhaus “Positionen der konkreten und konstruktiven Kunst” in Dessau and has exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1978.
