We are pleased to announce the participation of Athene Galiciadis in this year’s Biennale Bregaglia in Bondo. The Zurich-based artist created a site-specific work, Nachtwache ich, a continuation of her shelter sculptures, this time focusing on groundskeeping, growing, and gardening.

Biennale Bregaglia takes place from June 2 to September 28, 2024, in and around Bondo, CH. This third edition explores the theme of Architecture and Gardens. Curator Misia Bernasconi and an international selection committee have chosen 10 projects by Kotoaki Asano, Lisa Collomb, Athene Galiciadis, Georg Gatsas, Marcel Herbst, Piero Maspoli, Juliana Rios Martinez, Lea Schaffner, Ines Marita Schärer, and Jonathan Steiger.

The opening reception with soup and drinks in honor of Athene Galiciadis, hosted by von Bartha, takes place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 3–5 pm. Please RSVP via claudio@vonbartha.com.
