“3 +6 = 1” stands for a group show that we organize together with the two Basel based galleries Stampa and Idea Fixa in the Güterhalle St. Johann, an old wooden hall oft he SBB (Swiss Federal Railways). Each of the three galleries will present 2 artist positions from their program. As curatorial initial point the statement “get bigger” can be seen. The 1000 square meter and 6meter-high Güterhalle hosts likewise monumental installative works by Zilla Leutenegger, Bernhard Luginbühl, Admir Jahic & Comenius Roethlisberger, Erik Steinbrecher, Nasan Tur and Beat Zoderer .
