Exploring the Archive: Interacting Colors spotlights anecdotal connections and physical resemblances between the works of German-born Josef Albers (1888–1976) and French Aurélie Nemours (1910–2005). Curated Andrew Bick (b. 1963), the exhibition juxtaposes works by Albers, Nemours, and Bick, alongside selected archival material from the gallery's history. As with much of Bick's research, written and curatorial practice, parallels are drawn between the apparent remoteness of concrete art formats and personal stories.
