Renowned for his conceptual installations and reimagining everyday objects as evocative sculptures, Florian Slotawa will showcase a new body of work alongside freshly interpreted concepts for his upcoming solo exhibition in Basel. By reinterpreting the commonplace, Slotawa challenges notions of functionality and beauty. With just a splash of colour, the removal of an element, or the introduction of seriality, the artist adds rhythm to previously static objects. This approach encourages viewers to see the familiar in new and thought-provoking ways.
