Marianne Eigenheer was born in 1945, in Lucerne, Switzerland. Her artistic work has been exhibited nationally and internationally since the 1970s. Major solo exhibitions include those at museums in Lucerne (1977), Graz, Austria (1982), Lyon-Villeurbanne, Bonn (1983) and Schaffhausen (1984). A significant group exhibition was “Aperto 80, Venice Biennial, organised by Harald Szeeman and Achille Benito Oliva.
