Karim Noureldin

b. 1967 in Zürich, Switzerland / Lives and works in Lausanne, Switzerland

Noureldin stud­ied 1988-90 at the Uni­ver­sity of Art and Design Zurich Hochschule der Kün­ste ZHdK and grad­u­ated 1994 in Fine Arts at the Uni­ver­sity of Art and Design Basel/Hochschule für Gestal­tung und Kunst HGK. Recent solo shows included Kunstmuseum Zander, Bergisch Gladbach (2015), Centre d’art contemporain Yverdon CACY (2015), Kunst(Zeug)haus Rapperswil (2014), Kun­st­mu­seum Bonn (2007), MAMCO Musée d’art mod­erne et con­tem­po­rain, Geneva (2005), Kun­st­mu­seum Win­terthur (2004), Kun­sthalle Basel (2002), Kun­st­mu­seum Thun (2000), Swiss Institute (1997). He par­tic­i­pated on numer­ous group­ shows in Switzer­land and abroad and has been collaborating with key representatives of the Swiss architectural scene, such as Park Architekten, Müller Sigrist Architekten, Raphael Nussbaumer Architectes, Luvo Architekten, and Herzog & De Meuron. Since 2002 he is a pro­fes­sor HES Fine Arts at ECAL/University of Art and Design, Lausanne.
